The 2026 Columbia River Halibut season opens April 30, with a 19,299-pound quota. The fishery operates Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. A one-fish daily bag limit and six-fish annual limit apply.

Celebrate at Seaside’s annual Fourth of July Parade. This annual parade is always a lot of fun for families and participants, rain or shine. Arriving early is strongly suggested.

Seaside hosts one of the largest official fireworks shows on the West Coast each Independence Day right on the beach next to the Pacific Ocean. The show begins at dusk, approximately 10 p.m.
